Spark Arrestors

SAV 123 Cyclone Type 

These spark arrestor units consist of a device to spin the exhaust gases inside the cylindrical container and separate solid particles from the exhaust gases by centrifugal action.

SA 125 “Multipath” or “Reactive” Spark Arresting Silencers 

These silencers are designed on the reactive principle with twin chambers in which the exhaust gases are mixed and smoothed, thus absorbing a high proportion of the acoustic energy without causing excessive back pressure. The spark arresting section is designed on the vortex principle, and solid particles are seperated from the gas and deposited in the box.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The silencers are manufactured from sheet steel and are of fully welded construction.
• All units are available with sleeved, threaded or flanged connections.
• Standard flanges are 10mm mild steel to ‘Table D’ pattern although other flange patterns can be accommodated.
• Silencers are supplied in black high temperature painted finish.
